What you need to know about attending an impactNPO event

Congratulations if you have secured a ticket for an impactNPO event!  Here is what you need to know to make the most of the weekend.

What you need to bring…..  an open mind, a smile and your own computer/laptop. Don’t forget your phone, chargers or any other gadgets that you rely on.

What will you be doing over the weekend? The aim of the weekend is to create a working solution for a charity or not for profit. The solution you will be working on depends on you, your team and the needs of your chosen NPO! We have run many successful weekends, and our volunteers have helped numerous NPOs with websites, IT infrastructure, design, branding, content as well as general advice.

How does the weekend work?  We start on Friday evening at 6pm with our charities presentations, so you can decide which charity you want to work with.  We help guide team forming, so each charity team has the skills they need to solve their specific problem.

Saturday and Sunday are spent working with your team to create a working solution.  At least one representative from the charity will be working with you all weekend, and your team will be working with them to make sure they have everything they need to be able to use the solution after the weekend.

What about food?    We provide lunch, drinks and snacks throughout the weekend. If you’ve told us about any special catering requirements when you reserved your ticket, then we will be ordering special food for you.

What if I can’t attend any more?  Please let us know as early as possible so we can reallocate your ticket.
